Ramsar Sites of Morocco — official boundaries 2026

Official boundaries of Morocco’s 38 Wetlands of International Importance, distributed by the Ramsar Sites Information Service (RSIS). Each feature represents one site and preserves the source geometry without simplification. Attributes include the Ramsar identifier, official name, declared area, a geodesic area calculated by Kharita, and a link to the official record. Declared and geometry-derived areas are both retained because they may differ, particularly for coastal or multipart sites. Coverage includes the southern provinces; data were retrieved on 8 October 2026.
