Annual surface-water transitions in Morocco — JRC 1985–2024
Kharita-derived annual series built from two consecutive JRC Global Surface Water YearlyHistory v1.5 layers. Each 30 m raster compares the surface-water state in the previous year with the displayed year and encodes nine possible transitions among non-water, seasonal water and permanent water. The national extent is continuous and includes the southern regions. The 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1997 layers are absent because at least one year in the comparison had no valid classified pixels in the prepared national files. This derived series must not be confused with the official aggregate JRC Transitions product.
