National 30 m map of surface-water regime changes from 1984 to 2024, derived from Landsat observations in JRC Global Surface Water v1.5. Each pixel belongs to one of ten classes describing stable permanent or seasonal water, gain, loss, conversion or ephemeral presence. This is a period summary, not a map of water conditions in 2024 alone.
Raster information
Each integer from 1 to 10 describes a trajectory between no water, seasonal water and permanent water over 1984–2024. Value 0 is the non-water background.
