ECMWF ERA5-Land — Monthly Standardized Soil Moisture Anomaly — Morocco — 1950–2026

Monthly time series of standardized soil moisture anomaly covering Morocco from 1950 to 2026, derived from ECMWF ERA5-Land data and prepared as COG over a continuous national extent including southern regions. Each raster shows the deviation of soil moisture from the average of the same month during the 1991–2020 reference period, expressed in standard deviations. Negative values indicate drier than modeled normal conditions, while positive values indicate wetter conditions. Grid cells touching the national boundary are kept to avoid empty borders on the coast; source NoData pixels are neither filled nor interpolated.

ECMWF ERA5-Land — Monthly Soil Volumetric Moisture 0-7 cm — Morocco — 1950–2026

Monthly time series of soil volumetric moisture between 0 and 7 cm covering Morocco from 1950 to 2026, derived from ECMWF ERA5-Land reanalysis and prepared as COG over a continuous national extent including southern regions. Each raster represents the average monthly volumetric fraction of water in the top soil layer of the ERA5-Land model, between 0 and 7 cm. Grid cells touching the national border are kept to avoid empty edges along the coast; NoData pixels from the source are neither filled nor interpolated. This series provides a consistent regional estimate; it does not replace local soil moisture measurements.
