MODIS MCD64A1 burned areas — Morocco
Monthly time series of approximate burn dates detected by the NASA MODIS MCD64A1 Collection 6.1 satellite product at about 500 m resolution, within one continuous national extent covering all of Morocco, including the southern regions. Each image represents one month from November 2000 to July 2026. A value of 0 means that no burn was detected during the month; values from 1 to 366 are the estimated ordinal day of burning. No detection does not prove that no fire occurred, especially for small or short-lived fires, cloud cover, and sensor-resolution limitations.
