ECMWF ERA5-Land — Monthly Soil Volumetric Moisture 0-7 cm — Morocco — 1950–2026
Monthly time series of soil volumetric moisture between 0 and 7 cm covering Morocco from 1950 to 2026, derived from ECMWF ERA5-Land reanalysis and prepared as COG over a continuous national extent including southern regions. Each raster represents the average monthly volumetric fraction of water in the top soil layer of the ERA5-Land model, between 0 and 7 cm. Grid cells touching the national border are kept to avoid empty edges along the coast; NoData pixels from the source are neither filled nor interpolated. This series provides a consistent regional estimate; it does not replace local soil moisture measurements. The published series runs precisely from February 1950 through August 2026.
