Built-up surface and urban expansion in Morocco — GHSL 1975–2030
National series of twelve 3-arc-second WGS84 COGs describing estimated built-up surface every five years from 1975 to 2030. Each pixel contains built-up area in square metres from the European Commission Joint Research Centre’s official GHS-BUILT-S R2023A product. Historical epochs are modelled through spatial-temporal interpolation of Landsat and Sentinel-2 observations; 2025 and 2030 are short-range projections, not observations. Files cover Morocco as one continuous national extent, including the southern regions.
