Harmonised polygons for 74 Moroccan urban centres delineated by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre using the Degree of Urbanisation method. They are not municipal boundaries: each polygon represents an internationally comparable continuous urban extent derived from the GHSL settlement grid. The layer provides estimated 2025 population and area, density, elevation, soil group, climate, precipitation, wind, photovoltaic potential and local climate-zone indicators. Scenario-labelled climate values for 2020 and 2030 are model projections rather than observations. Kharita selected the centres over one continuous national extent and normalised the country field to Morocco, including the southern provinces.
