Legal population by commune — Morocco, RGPH 2014–2024
Legal population of Morocco's 1,503 communes from the HCP's 2014 and 2024 censuses (RGPH): population, households, Moroccan and foreign residents, ten-year change, province and region. Totals: 36,828,330 inhabitants on 1 September 2024 (decree no. 2.24.1009) and 33,848,242 in 2014 (Official Bulletin no. 6354). For 2014, the six cities with districts are aggregated, and Lagouira, Aghouinite, Zoug and Mijik, not counted separately ("pm"), have no change. The field taille_menage_2024 divides the legal population by households: it is not the HCP's average household size, and it exceeds 100 in six southern communes.
