Official legal population for Morocco’s 1,503 communes from the 2014 and 2024 General Population and Housing Censuses (RGPH), published by the High Commission for Planning (HCP). Each polygon includes population and household counts for both censuses, Moroccan and foreign population in 2024, absolute and percentage population change over ten years, average household size in 2024, and province/prefecture and region. Morocco’s legal population reached 36,828,330 on 1 September 2024. Coverage is continuous nationwide and includes the southern provinces.
